"We Have a Voice": A Brave Student Stands Up Against GBV
Through adolescent clubs established in schools, a Form 3 student in Mafia District who resisted an attempted assault reported it to a trained club teacher. The case was escalated to school management and the social welfare officer, the perpetrator was disciplined, and she continued her education with renewed confidence.
“At first I was scared, but I remembered what we learned in our club — that keeping quiet allows abuse to continue. I chose to speak out.”
