A. IntroductionBAK-AIDS was established in 2004 under the National Muslim Council of Tanzania (BAKWATA), which was itself registered in 1968 under the Societies Ordinance of 1954 (Reg. No. SO.NO.5512). The organization was created to support national efforts in addressing socio-economic development and emerging health issues. BAK-AIDS coordinates strategic planning, training, implementation, and evaluation of community service interventions across all regions of mainland Tanzania.In line with amendments to the Non-Governmental Organization Act No. 24 of 2002, revised by the Miscellaneous Amendments Act of 2019, BAKWATA officially registered BAK-AIDS as BAKAID Tanzania under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act in 2021 (Registration No. 00NGO/R/1805). BAKAID envisions healthier lives for underprivileged children, youth, men, and women. Its mission is to develop and implement innovative community-based strategies that provide quality and accessible socio-economic services. This is achieved through strong collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring sustainable operations and a dynamic framework for quality service delivery.

B. Description of Required ServicesBAKAID is seeking reliable car hire services to support its operations across nine councils: five in the Simiyu Region and four in the Kigoma Region.CATEGORY DETAILSSpecifications 1. Vehicles• Must accommodate at least 4 passengers.• Be in excellent condition, with the following specifications:o Clear dashboards.o Capability for field work and navigation on rough roads.• Be suitable for fieldwork operations, including models like Land Cruisers or similar (small cars such as taxis are excluded).2. Logbooks• Vendors must maintain logbooks to track kilometers traveled for transparency and accountabilityLegal Requirements 3. Vendors are required to provide the following valid documentation:• Business License• TIN Certificate• VAT Registration Certificate (if applicable)• EFD Receipt• Invoice and Proforma Invoice• Delivery NoteService Delivery Scope • Services will cover nine councils, with five in the Simiyu Region and four in the Kigoma Region.• Vendors may indicate their capacity to serve one or more councils based on their resources and availability.C. Additional Requirements1. Payment Termso 100% payment will be made after the completion of services at the end of the respective month, subject to the terms of the contract.2.
